Scenarios Input:

Commissioners were provided with summaries of both detailed commentaries, and general public opinion to help inform their selection of a final or modified land-use scenario. Unfortunately, due to the large volume of content, we are unable to post every submission from the public. To be fair, we decided to not post any letters from the public, but to provide some statistical analyses instead. However, hard-copies of all responses are available for viewing at the PWPC office. Below are the statistical analyses of the Scenario Option public replies:

Patterns of responses from the public received by the deadline of February 28th
2009-03-24
Produced by PWPC
All public feedback has been tabulated, and there are some clear patterns. For all categories of respondent, Scenario 2 clearly had the majority of support. Support for more protection than that described in Scenario 2 was highest in the communities nearest the planning region, as was support for scenario 3. A large number of responses were blank except for respondent's name. These blank responses were not included in any analysis.
