Response to the Recommended Peel Watershed Regional Land Use Plan by the plan Parties
Background
The Yukon Government, the First Nation governments of Na-Cho Nyak Dun, Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in, and Vuntut Gwitchin and NWT's Gwich'in Tribal Council have concluded their consultations with communities around the Peel Watershed, and with each other. Responses on the Yukon Government's consultation website are available at http://www.peelconsultation.ca. On January 20th, 2011, the Parties signed a Letter of Understanding that describes how the rest of the Peel Watershed process will occur, and when. Responses
